The Engagement

So, where did Brian propose?

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

Is that the least romantic spot he could find? Why not the bus station?

The Seattle Greyhound station is very scary indeed. However, Brian's story is that Amy is not a fan of flying (at all). For once, he wanted Amy to have something besides flying to think about. So, when dropping her off at the airport, he followed her in with a large box that was a "surprise" for her trip. After dragging her to a scenic portion of the airport, he announced that there was, in fact, nothing in the box, pulled the ring out of his pocket, and popped the question. Amy said yes (whew!). Amy would also point out that Brian did not actually have a chance to put the ring on Amy's finger, as she grabbed it from him before he had the chance.

Where did the ring come from?

It actually belonged to Brian's grandmother and has been in the family a couple generations.

Will somebody (pleeeease) hyphenate their last name?

Amy's thinking about changing her middle name to Ferris. Maybe Brian will go vice versa!
